Plumber 1.4 Release - What's New
We're excited to announce Plumber 1.4:
⚡ Manage issues at scale, remediate in one click, connect your AI provider faster
This release makes day-to-day issue management faster, brings auto-fix to merge request settings, and adds a simpler way to connect AWS Bedrock LLMs.
👥 Bulk Issue Owner Management
Managing issue owners one by one was tedious. You can now assign or remove owners in bulk, and quickly find the right person.
What you get:
- Bulk owner edit: Select multiple issues and set (or clear) their owner in a single action
- Searchable owner filter: Filter issues by owner with a search box, instead of scrolling through a long list of users
🔧 One-Click Auto-Fix for Merge Request Settings
The merge request settings are not compliant issue can now be fixed automatically, in one click. Bring a project into compliance without manually editing its merge request settings or waiting for the next analysis.
What you get:
- Direct fix: Plumber applies the compliant settings directly on the project
- Clear preview: Before fixing, see exactly what will change
- Automatic refresh: The compliance is updated right away
🤖 AWS Bedrock API Key Support
For organizations using AWS Bedrock as their AI provider (BYO-LLM), Plumber now supports the new Bedrock API key authentication. One credential to manage instead of an access-key pair, so it's quicker to set up and easier to rotate.
What you get:
- API key authentication: Use a Bedrock API key instead of an Access Key ID / Secret Access Key pair
- Both methods supported: The Access Key ID / Secret Access Key option remains available
⚙️ Minor Updates
- Policies: Create a policy without selecting a project or portfolio, and attach its scope later
- Compatibility: Support for the latest Claude models on Bedrock (e.g. Opus 4.8)
- Security: Resolved package CVEs for enhanced security
- Fix: Various bug fixes and stability improvements
